Ansu A. Varghese is a Research Senior Software Engineer at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center currently working on developing solutions for cloud-native applications, focusing on improving developer experiences with Hybrid Cloud. She works with both IBM and RedHat Product Engineering teams on Serverless products (Knative) and also, with Quarkus teams on new tooling for Java natively compiled applications. Prior to this role, she was part of the Watson Health Care & Life Sciences product development team at IBM Research using NLP and ML to provide intelligent insights from longitudinal patient records for improving patient care. She also has years of experience working with IBM Mainframes and its Operating System (z/OS). Besides working on code, she has recently rediscovered a passion for baking, and Zumba dancing with her toddlers.
